REC Registry – the public registry of information relating to the operation of the Australian Government’s Renewable Energy Target scheme (RET). RET and the public registry are administered by the Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator.

ORER – The Australian Government Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator (ORER) is a statutory authority established to administer the Government’s Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000 and the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001. The policy that underpins the Act and Regulations is commonly referred to as the Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme.
