Conversion of sunlight into electricity is termed as Solar Power, which can be
used directly with the help of PV or indirectly with the help of Concentrated Solar
Power (CSP)
Photovoltaic cells basically get light into electric current with the use of
photoelectric effect. CSP basically make the use of lenses or mirrors and even the
tracking systems for the complete focus a large sunlight area into small beam.

Renewable energy which has been a debatable topic of all over the gone past years and still it is
one subject, been discussed a lot of all the energy resources. We make the use of such resources
to power various appliances and help our environment for the reduction of the fossil fuels on the

energy. Moving the blades of the windmill, kinetic energy is further converted into mechanical
energy. When the energy is used for generation of electricity then it is known as wind generator
but if the grinding is done like wheat then it’s termed as windmill.

Now days it is commonly known that broken, chipped or damaged solar cells can
also be used to make a homemade solar cell capable of producing electricity. Basic
electrical wiring of several of these panels together has the potential to boost voltage
so it can charge a few batteries in a bank, and at least partially powers an appliance
or two.
Many owners of home and do it yourselfers, this is a dream – a really cool project
that isn’t too expensive and can reduce electric bills. The more electricity we can
produce, after all, the less demand there is for it from the power grid. This lowers
our bill. We can even get an electrician to connect our system to our house, and
thus produce power that is fed into the grid. In theory, if we produced enough
excess power, our meter will actually reverse and we will see credits on our energy
bill!
